Bounce Imaging Explorer For A Quick Snapshot Of Any Hazard

This may remind of the remake of 'Total Recall' where Colin Farrell was trapped in Recall building and police shoots image making bullets inside to create 3D map of the building. This ball size imaging explorer does the same. The explorer First responders can toss the baseball-size Explorer into a building or enclosed space for a quick snapshot of any hazards.

Sporting six cameras with wide-angle lenses, it can take 360-degree panoramic images of its surroundings and send them to a cellphone or tablet in less than three seconds. Bounce Imaging strove to make the Explorer affordable, so it built the device using off-the-shelf parts. Future iterations could have swappable sensors to detect carbon monoxide, radiation, or hydrogen cyanide. Link for more info.
